We are looking for dynamic educators, like YOU to present at our LATI Summer Summit, July 11-12, 2017.  The call for papers is now open.  Deadline to submit is May 5, 2017.

The Louisiana Assistive Technology Initiative would like to invite individuals from districts, agencies, and higher ed from across Louisiana to submit proposals.


We Are Seeking Experts in the Following Areas: 

  • Access to the General Curriculum Aligned to the Louisiana Student Standards (K-12)

  • Implementing Text-to-Speech Across the Curriculum

  • Utilizing AT to Achieve Rigorous Standards for Students with Significant Disabilities

  • Giving ALL Students a Voice (AAC)

  • Social and Emotional Learning to Support Academic Success 

  • Instructional Design and Strategies for Students with Disabilities

  • Creating 21st Century Digital Learning Environments (e.g., Assistive Technology, Digital Learning Tools)

  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

  • Implementing Effective Inclusive Practices Using Assistive Technology

  • AT and Transition 


All content should be 90 minutes in length and focus on instructional practice with an emphasis on universal design for learning and assistive technology.
